When Uplift+ first launched, it carried 15mg of CBG. Customers noticed the lift: sharper mornings, better focus, steadier energy. But the science left us with one undeniable truth: 15mg is not enough.
Human studies show that CBG begins producing consistent, measurable effects on clarity and focus around 30mg and above. We needed to act, so we doubled it for our flagship daytime gummy, Uplift+.
What is CBG?
CBG, or cannabigerol, is often called the "mother cannabinoid." It's the first compound the hemp plant creates before it matures into other cannabinoids such as CBD and THC. Given it's responsible for the creation of the other cannabinoids, we think it needs a little more recognition than it typically receives.
In recent years CBG has attracted attention for its potential to improve energy, focus, and mental clarity. Clinical research suggests that effective outcomes appear at 25 to 30mg and above. What we kept reading in scientific journals, clinical trials, and customer feedback is simple: smaller doses may look good on a label but do not deliver meaningful results.
So What?
Most CBG gummies on the market contain 5 to 10mg. That is enough to claim CBG on the packaging but not enough to impact your day. This habit of under-dosing means many consumers have never experienced what CBG can actually do.
We certainly weren't willing to keep it that way... 15 milligrams was a nice differentiator for us, but the more recent developments from research showed we actually really needed to go further.
